Rutherford Travel Co.

Rutherford Travel Company was founded in 2023, originally under the name Amy Rutherford Dream Vacations. What began as a part-time passion project—a stepping stone toward a dream retirement career—quickly transformed into something much more. Thanks to incredible clients like you, the company grew faster than expected, and Amy was able to pursue travel planning full time. That growth also opened the door to expanding our team and welcoming other travel associates who share our love for adventure.

This company was built on a deep, lifelong love for travel. Amy spent most of her professional life co-owning her family’s RV dealership—an Oklahoma legacy of over 63 years—alongside her brother. Her parents instilled a sense of wonder and wanderlust early on. Her dad's ambition paired with her mom’s longing to explore the world laid the foundation for what would eventually become Rutherford Travel Company.

When it comes to travel, there are very few places I wouldn’t go—and don’t even ask me to name a favorite! But without a doubt, my favorite kind of travel is with my family. We’ve explored national parks, hiked mountain trails, sailed through tropical islands, wandered through castles, watched windmills spin across the countryside, and—most importantly—made memories that I’ll cherish forever.
